As your representative, I’ll fight to codify trans rights into federal law and dismantle systemic bigotry.

Targeted Erasure: The current administration is stripping protections established under Bostock v. Clayton County (2020), falsely claiming trans people forfeit rights to single-sex spaces, military service, healthcare, and education.

Real Harm: 2,420+ trans service members face discharge (like Sailor Benjamin Kibler), trans inmates endure violence in misaligned prisons, and federal health resources for HIV/prevention are being censored.

Broken Promises: While Democrats stand idle, Republicans push laws forcing school outings, denying lifesaving care, and banning transgender existence from public discourse.

As your congressmember, I’ll introduce:

• The Bostock Codification Act

  • Explicitly protects gender identity/sexual orientation under civil rights laws.

  • Guarantees access to facilities matching gender identity.

• Gender-Affirming Care Shield Act

  • Nullifies state bans on healthcare and mandates Medicaid coverage.

• Military Continuity Act

  • Reverses the trans military ban and reinstates discharged personnel.

• Accurate Identity Act

  • Secures self-attested gender markers (including "X") on federal documents.

• Animus Doctrine Enforcement Act

  • Blocks executive actions targeting LGBTQ+ people as unconstitutional animus.
